A Brief History

The CCMA was established in June 1996 by Simon Kriss as the Victorian CCMA and Deb Brown started the NSW CCMA within 6 months of the Victorian launch.

Starting with a two city approach, today the CCMA is growing across Australia with over 400 member organisations and 1000 contacts, including significant corporates, business, small business and individuals.  Over the past decade the CCMA has quickly become a peak representative of the Australian Customer Contact Management Industry with feature national, international articles, a strong presence at global forums and events from Singapore / China to the US and Europe! Also sponsor and active participants in the Contact Center Regional (APAC) and Contact Center World (Global) Awards programs for Customer Contact Service excellence and subsequent recognition.

The CCMA head office is based in Melbourne Victoria Australia, with members in each mainland state and have Directors based across the country from Melbourne Victoria to Perth Western Australia.
