Kirsty McCarthy has over 20 years full time experience in the Customer Contact Industry, and has been a member of the CCMA for 6 years and on the committee for 3 years. In that time she has been a Committee member, the Membership Director, Secretary and is currently our International Liaison USA.
Kirsty based in Melbourne is the founder and Vice President of Inference Communications (a specialist natural language speech recognition organisation) with clients across Australia, Germany and the USA. She is also the founding Vice President of the Australian Chapter of AVIOS (Applied Voice Input Output Society), which is the peak industry body for speech recognition globally.
Kirsty has held many senior positions in the customer / contact industry including being the Head of the Infrastructure group for Siemen's Business Services and managing the call centre for Amcor Australia. Working with teams to achieve goals and objectives is what gives Kirsty a "buzz", and this is particularly relevant to the contact centre industry. Within her own organisation she is proud to be taking a unique Australian developed technology to the global market. Her passion for technological smarts that enhance improved customer service has resulted in a lot of wins over Kirsty's career, incorporating people and technology to enhance customer service excellence.
As a recognised speaker in an international forum we are pleased to have such an experienced member on our committee helping the industry with her valued knowledge both locally and globally. Kirsty also possesses a Master Of Business Administration that was awarded by the Melbourne Business School combining both academic and pragmatic skills to add to the credible list of CCMA committee members.
