Presently based in Perth for four years in a business to business key account management role Gay has a diploma in Human Resources which proved very helpful in the contact centre industry leading award winning teams of 100+ in the insurance, government and direct selling industries.
Over 14 years Gay's specialties included project managing contact centre start-ups, relocations and mergers throughout Australia and New Zealand with a focus on maximising contact centre technology and telephony to maximise sales and customer retention.
Gay has developed and led multi-lingual team's - inbound and outbound; and as Managing Director led the start-up of a successful specialist contact centre mystery shopping business.
For 5 years Gay was a member then Chairperson of New Zealand's TUANZ (Telecommunications Users Association) contact centre committee, this involved developing conference programmes, regular events for members and the annual awards evening. Gay led several judging panels for the hugely popular TUANZ contact centre awards each year and was privileged to represent New Zealand as a Judge for the South East Asia contact centre awards, based in Singapore in 2006. She has chaired and presented at numerous conferences and workshops throughout Australasia and Asia and is proud to be working with the Customer Contact Management Association.
Work locations to date include Auckland, Wellington, Sydney, Fiji, Singapore and Perth. Gay joins the CCMA team to head up the activities in the Western Australian market in November 2011. |
